Materials

Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (HNBR) is a highly saturated elastomer obtained by special hydrogenation treatment of Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR). HNBR exhibits excellent oil resistance (with good resistance to fuel oil, lubricating oil, and aromatic solvents). Due to its highly saturated structure, it also possesses excellent heat resistance, outstanding resistance to chemical corrosion (exhibiting good resistance to fluorocarbons, acids, and bases), excellent ozone resistance, and high resistance to compression set deformation. Additionally, HNBR has high strength, excellent tear resistance, and outstanding wear resistance, making it one of the most versatile rubbers with exceptional overall performance.

HNBR’s temperature resistance ranges from 130 to 180°C, and it can withstand cold temperatures from -55 to -38°C while maintaining excellent mechanical properties. Compared to other polymers, HNBR is better suited to meet the requirements of the automotive industry.

Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (HNBR) finds wide applications in various industries, including oil fields and automotive sectors.
