Nitrile rubber (NBR) is a copolymer made from the polymerization of acrylonitrile and butadiene monomers. It is primarily produced using a low-temperature emulsion polymerization method. NBR exhibits excellent oil resistance, high abrasion resistance, good heat resistance, and strong adhesion. However, its drawbacks include poor low-temperature resistance, low resistance to ozone, inferior insulation properties, and slightly lower elasticity.
