Rubber Sheets & Rubber Rolls
Rubber sheets are sheet-like products primarily made from rubber (may contain reinforcement materials such as fabric or metal sheets) that is vulcanized to a certain thickness and a relatively large area. Sometimes also known as “”rubber slab.”” Rubber sheets exhibit relatively high hardness and moderate physical and mechanical properties.
Description
Rubber sheets are produced by mixing rubber compounds and then processing them through calendering or extrusion to form sheets. These sheets are then vulcanized using either flat vulcanizing machines or continuous vulcanizing machines.
They find widespread use in industrial and mining enterprises, transportation departments, as well as in flooring for various applications. Rubber sheets are utilized as sealing gaskets, cushions, door and window seals, and are also used for covering workbenches and floors.
Material:
FKM (Viton®, fluoro-rubber) sheet; VMQ (Silicone-rubber) sheet; FVMQ sheet; NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) sheet; HNBR sheet; EPDM sheet; Natural rubber sheet; Neoprene sheet; PU (polyurethane) sheet; etc.
Size/standards:
Thickness: 0.4-20 mm; Width: customized, usually 1-1.2 m; Length: customized, usually 10 m a roll
Color:
Customized, usually black, green, and brown.
Packing:
Customized, usually 10 m a roll packed in plastic or wood pallets.
Cloth Insert Rubber Sheets
Cloth Inserted Rubber is special kind of rubber sheet that has been reinforced with various types of cloth such as polyester, nylon, cotton or fiberglass fabric. This gives the rubber more reinforcement support and added stability in gasket applications requiring mechanical fastening and high compression.
